Building community relationships
Because community dialogue helps establish and maintain ongoing relationships, we start a dialogue with residents early in the project development process. We work to:

• Establish a cooperative relationship with the community
• Listen to our neighbors and landowners
• Share information
• Ensure our proposal fits the interests and priorities of the community
• Maintain an ongoing relationship with the community long after our projects are completed

Sharing information
In addition to talking with residents, we meet with:

• Elected and appointed officials
• Civic associations
• Environmental groups
• Other community organizations

We share new information, as it becomes available, through a combination of:

• Community visits
• Public meetings
• Open houses
• Local media relationships
