High Banks WIND
About the Project
High Banks Wind is an innovative wind project proposed for Washington and Republic counties in Kansas that will have a capacity of approximately 600 megawatts of clean, renewable energy. The High Banks Wind project is more than wind turbines - it represents a significant capital investment in Kansas. Once operational, it will create good-paying jobs and provide millions in additional revenue for landowners and the local community.
It is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, the world’s largest generator of renewable energy from the wind and the sun.
