Since 2013, NextEra Energy Resources subsidiaries' have been helping fuel the state’s economic growth and quality of life while moving our country toward energy independence. We have invested approximately $822 million in the state and have contributed $1.7 million in property taxes, in 2023**. 


Over the last decade, the cost of wind energy has decreased by* 31% due to improved technology and U.S.-based manufacturing making it competitive with other energy sources.
