About the Project
Walleye Wind is an innovative wind project proposed for Rock County in Minnesota that will have a capacity of approximately 110 megawatts of clean, renewable energy. The Walleye Wind project is more than wind turbines - it represents a significant capital investment in Minnesota. Once operational, it will create good-paying jobs and provide millions in additional revenue for landowners and the local community.
It is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, the world’s largest generator of renewable energy from the wind and the sun.
