About the Project
Niyol Wind is an innovative wind project in Logan County and Northeastern Colorado that will have a capacity of approximately 200 megawatts of clean, renewable energy. The Niyol Wind project is more than wind turbines - it represents a significant capital investment in Colorado. Once operational, it will create good-paying jobs and provide millions in additional revenue for landowners and the local community.
Construction is scheduled to begin on Feb. 1, 2021.
It is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, the world’s largest generator of renewable energy from the wind and the sun.
