ROUNDHOUSE WIND

About the Project

The Roundhouse Wind Energy Center is an innovative wind project located in Laramie County, Wyoming. The first phase of the project began operations in June 2020. When both phases of the project are complete, they will have a combined capacity of approximately 325 megawatts of clean, renewable energy. The Roundhouse Wind Energy Center is more than wind turbines - it represents a significant capital investment in Wyoming. Once operational, it will create good-paying jobs and provide millions in additional revenue for landowners and the local community.

It is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, the world’s largest generator of renewable energy from the wind and the sun.
