ADAMS COUNTY WIND PROJECT

200 Megawatts of Clean Energy in Adams County, Colorado


Since 2003, NextEra Energy Resources' subsidiaries have been helping fuel the state’s economic growth and quality of life and moving our country toward energy independence.

The Adams County Wind project features:

  • Up to 71 GE wind turbines capable of generating approximately 200 megawatts (MW) of clean, renewable energy.
  • Subject to local and state approvals, the project is scheduled to begin operations by February 2029.
