About the Project
The Argenta Solar Energy Center project is an innovative solar and battery energy storage project in San Bernardino County, California that will combine up to 600 megawatts of clean, solar energy with 600 megawatts of battery energy storage, making more renewable energy available to customers for more hours of the day, even when the sun is not shining. The Argenta Solar Energy Center project is more than solar panels and batteries - it represents a significant capital investment in California. Once operational, it will create good-paying jobs and millions in additional revenue for the local community.
The Argenta Solar Energy Center project is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, the world’s largest generator of renewable energy from the wind and the sun.
