The Clinton County Wind project features:
- Capable of generating approximately 250 megawatts (MW) of clean, renewable energy.
- Clinton County Wind is committed to meeting or exceeding all the regulatory requirements and working with the community to ensure we select the most appropriate sites for generating wind energy.

Bringing Economic Opportunities
Wind farms are compatible with agriculture and are fast becoming an important component of farm viability in Iowa and many areas across the country. They can also generate significant economic benefits for the communities that host them.

Employment Opportunities
Clinton County Wind will create local employment opportunities, including up to 340 construction and 7 good-paying, full-time jobs to maintain and operate.

Landowner Payments
The Project provides approximately $40 million* in payments to Clinton County landowners — stable, reliable income families can depend on, regardless of weather.

County Tax Revenue
The Project provides approximately $100 million* in additional revenue for Clinton County, money that can enhance local roads, schools and services.

Local Spending
Wind farms provide indirect income to local businesses, including hotels, restaurants, caterers and other companies.
