CORBY ENERGY STORAGE PROJECT

300 Megawatts of Energy Storage in Solano County, California

For decades, NextEra Energy Resources' subsidiaries have been helping fuel America’s economic growth and quality of life and moving our nation toward energy independence. To date, we have invested approximately $11.8 billion in California, including dozens of wind, solar and energy storage projects. This project uses batteries to store energy and make it available when it’s most needed, improving the reliability and efficiency of the electric grid.

Features of the Corby Energy Storage project:

  • The project encompasses approximately 40 acres.
  • Subject to local and state approvals, the project is scheduled to begin operations as early as April 2027.
