DODGE COUNTY WIND PROJECT
260 Megawatts of Clean Energy in Minnesota
Since 2000, NextEra Energy Resources' subsidiaries have been helping fuel the state’s economic growth and quality of life and moving our country toward energy independence. To date, we have invested more than $551 million in Minnesota, including one operational wind energy center and one universal-scale solar energy center.
The Dodge County Wind project features:
- Up to 79 GE wind turbines capable of generating approximately 260 megawatts (MW) of clean, renewable energy.
- Subject to local and state approvals, the project is scheduled to begin operations by the end of 2023.
