FAIRFIELD SOLAR PROJECT
300 Megawatts of Clean Energy in Utah County, Utah
For decades, NextEra Energy Resources' subsidiaries have been helping fuel America’s economic growth and quality of life and moving our nation toward energy independence. To date, we operate solar projects in more than 30 states.
Features of the Fairfield Solar project:
- Photovoltaic (PV) solar arrays capable of generating up to 300 megawatts (MW) of clean, renewable energy.
- The project encompasses approximately 2,700 acres.
- Subject to local and state approvals, the project is scheduled to begin operations June of 2028.

Bringing Economic Opportunities
Solar projects generate home-grown, renewable energy while preserving clean air and water. They can also generate significant economic benefits for the communities that host them.

Employment Opportunities
The Fairfield Solar project will create local employment opportunities, including up to 350 jobs to construct the project.

County Tax Revenue
The Project provides approximately $1.4 million* per year in property tax revenue to the Town of Fairfield and Utah County, money that can enhance local roads and services.
