For decades, NextEra Energy Resources' subsidiaries have been helping fuel America’s economic growth and quality of life and moving our nation toward energy independence. To date, we operate solar projects in more than 30 states and currently have two utility scale solar projects, Dunns Bridge Solar in Jasper and Starke Counties and Cavalry Solar in White County, under construction in Indiana, with many more, such as Greensboro Solar, in development across the state.

Features of the Greensboro Solar project:

  • Photovoltaic (PV) solar arrays capable of generating up to 100 megawatts (MW) of clean, renewable energy.
  • The project encompasses approximately 700 acres.
  • Subject to local and state approvals, the project is scheduled to begin operations as early as July 2027.
