GYPSUM WIND PROJECT

About the Project

The Gypsum Wind project is an innovative wind project proposed for Woodward County in Oklahoma that will have a capacity of approximately 203 megawatts of clean, renewable energy. The Gypsum Wind project is more than wind turbines — it represents a significant capital investment in Oklahoma. Once operational, it will create good-paying jobs and provide millions in additional revenue for landowners and the local community.

It is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, the world’s largest generator of renewable energy from the wind and the sun.
