About the Project
The Holly Ridge Solar project is an innovative solar project proposed for Richland Parish, Louisiana that will have a capacity of up to 600 megawatts of American-made solar energy with the opportunity of adding a battery energy storage component. The Holly Ridge Solar project is more than solar panels — it represents a significant capital investment in Louisiana. Once operational, it will create good-paying jobs and millions in additional revenue for the local community.
The project is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, the world’s largest generator of renewable energy from the wind and the sun.
