About the Project
Irish Creek Wind Energy Center is an innovative wind project in Marshall County, Kansas with a capacity of approximately 300 megawatts of clean, renewable energy. The Irish Creek Wind Energy Center is more than wind turbines - it represents a significant capital investment in Kansas. It creates good-paying jobs and provides millions in additional revenue for landowners and the local community.
It is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, the world’s largest generator of renewable energy from the wind and the sun.
