Prior to joining NextEra Energy, served as  a Partner and primary technology lead helping Capital One Ventures evaluate, invest in and adopt technology from best-in breed startups in Cyber Security and Infrastructure. Serving as Chief Architect at The DataTribe, his experience spanned being an investor, board member, product and technology mentor to early stage technology star-ups in an incubator environment. As Senior Vice President and Chief Architect at In-Q-Tel, Jay led the company’s highest profile engagements, guiding large government agencies to modernize tech strategies and adopt tech from start-ups. Jay holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland as well as a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal.

Vivek is an experienced Chief Executive Officer with a successful track record in early stage and growth phase technology start-ups in hardware (chips) and software (infrastructure, middleware and internet). Skil in all aspects of the business and operations – fund raising to ramping up teams to delivering product and go-to-market through M&A and exits. Vivek holds his MBA from Stanford University, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, as well as, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.

Jacqueline has been with NextEra Energy for over 16 years and currently leads the NEI Portfolio Management team. Throughout her tenure, she has supported numerous business initiatives, including economic development with incentive rates for growing businesses, capacity building community programs, and providing resources to local and regional economic development organizations. Jacqueline has also directly facilitated data center and cryptocurrency business development projects across the state. Her diverse experience spans multiple roles within FPL’s Marketing & Communications, Human Resources, External Affairs, and Economic Development business units. She has contributed to various company projects, such as Energy Smart Florida, the company’s smart meter and smart technology initiative, the college relations and internship program, employee giving efforts, and multiple business and economic development initiatives. Jacqueline consistently works closely with the communities serve by the company, striving to make them a better place to work and raise a family.
