How do we collect real-time data?
The NextEra 360™ Connect grid edge device supports a wide variety of real-time data monitoring and control applications. The device includes industrial Modbus-capable data logging and computing/control with cellular modem connectivity, supplied stand-alone or with a NEMA-rated enclosure and support infrastructure.
How long does it take to get up and running with Connect?
Integrations, on average, can be completed in a 3-month timeline depending on size and scope of the project. We are able to work with different control systems, bringing multiple assets together on one platform. We have an established library of APIs with the ability to streamline the data feed and implementation process.
Can the software help us determine the best tariff for our energy needs?
NextEra Analytics has a suite of software solutions that solve for the customers' lowest cost of energy. Typical solutions include a combination of tariff optimization and alternate tariffs. Please schedule a meeting with one of our technical experts to discuss this use case further.
Can you load follow with solar and storage?
Our software optimizes the dispatch of storage with or without solar for many use cases such as peak shaving, load following, tariff optimization, energy arbitrage, etc.
How does the dispatch optimization work? What data is used?
The software optimizes dispatch by leveraging historical data, real-time information, and proprietary algorithms to forecast and plan for peak demand.
What assets can the software dispatch?
NextEra 360 can dispatch any energy asset that accepts dispatch commands via Modbus protocol or vendor APIs. These assets typically include on-site batteries with or without solar, generators, HVACs, chillers, and building management systems.
