PINE NUT SOLAR PROJECT
200 Megawatts of Clean Energy in Lyon County, Nevada
For decades, NextEra Energy Resources' subsidiaries have been helping fuel America’s economic growth and quality of life and moving our nation toward energy independence. To date, we operate solar projects in more than 30 states, including Mountain View Solar and Silver State South Solar projects in Clark County, Nevada.
Features of the Pine Nut Solar project:
- Photovoltaic (PV) solar arrays capable of generating up to 200 megawatts (MW) of clean, renewable energy.
- The project encompasses approximately 2,300 acres.
- Subject to local and state approvals, the project is scheduled to begin operations as early as December 2025.

Employment Opportunities
The Pine Nut Solar project will create local employment opportunities, including up to 300 jobs to construct the project.

County Tax Revenue
The Project provides approximately $9 million* in additional revenue for Lyon County, money that can enhance local roads, schools and services.
