600 Megawatts of Energy Storage in the City of Ontario, California
For decades, NextEra Energy Resources' subsidiaries have been helping fuel America’s economic growth and quality of life and moving our nation toward energy independence. To date, we have invested more than $8.9 billion in California, including dozens of wind, solar and energy storage projects. This project uses batteries to store energy and make it available when it’s most needed, improving the reliability and efficiency of the electric grid.
