MEET RYAN AND MITCH
Get To Know Your Developer
Ryan Fitzpatrick, a Cheyenne native, serves as Director of Development for NextEra Energy Resources and has been developing renewables in Wyoming for 13 years. Recently, Ryan managed the development of the original 225-megawatt Roundhouse project, as well as the 533-megawatt Cedar Springs wind projects north of Douglas in Converse County. While he’s not spending his free time cheering on the Pokes or enjoying the Wyoming outdoors, he meets with local stakeholders to discuss project specifics, timelines, and the economic benefits a project like the Roundhouse expansion can bring to Laramie County.
Mitch Daily is a senior project manager overseeing the second phase of the Roundhouse Wind project and development efforts across Wyoming. Prior to joining NextEra Energy Resources, he served in the U.S. Army for eight years as an Army Aviator. A native Hoosier, Mitch enjoys working in rural Wyoming as it reminds him of home. Mitch and his wife have a one-year-old daughter that is growing up way too fast.
In his role, Mitch meets with stakeholders and landowners to discuss project specifics, timelines, and the economic benefits the project can bring to this community. Mitch’s favorite part of the job is engaging with community members and making a positive impact. He enjoys supporting organizations and events that matter to the community, such as the Cheyenne Youth Symphony, Wyoming Junior Rodeo Association, Saddle Up Rodeo Series, and the Boys and Girls Club of Douglas.
