SALT CREEK WIND PROJECT

About the Project

The Salt Creek Wind project is an innovative wind project being built in Tama County, Iowa that will have a capacity of approximately 170 megawatts of clean, renewable energy. The Salt Creek Wind project is more than wind turbines — it represents a significant capital investment in Iowa. Once operational, it will create good-paying jobs and provide millions in additional revenue for landowners and the local community.

The project is owned by Salt Creek Wind LLC, an affiliate of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, the world’s largest generator of renewable energy from the wind and the sun, and a world leader in battery energy storage.
