ST. LANDRY SOLAR PROJECT

150 Megawatts of Clean Energy in St. Landry Parish, Louisiana


For decades, NextEra Energy Resources' subsidiaries have been helping fuel America’s economic growth and quality of life and moving our nation toward energy independence. To date, we operate solar projects in more than 30 states, and St. Landry Solar will be he first solar project of its kind in Louisiana. 


Features of the St. Landry Solar project:

  • Photovoltaic (PV) solar arrays capable of generating up to 150 megawatts (MW) of clean, renewable energy.

  • The project encompasses approximately 2,500 acres. 

  • Subject to local and state approvals, the project is scheduled to begin operations as early as December 2024.
