Weld Energy Storage is an innovative battery energy storage project proposed for Weld County, Colorado that features batteries with a capacity of up to 100 megawatts. It will provide additional flexibility in managing the energy grid, helping keep the lights on when demand for electricity is at its peak. Weld Energy Storage is more than batteries — it represents a significant capital investment in Colorado. It will create good-paying jobs and millions in additional revenue for the local community.
