200 Megawatts of Clean Energy in Irwin County, Georgia


For decades, NextEra Energy Resources' subsidiaries have been helping fuel America’s economic growth and quality of life and moving our nation toward energy independence. To date, we have proposed solar projects in more than 30 states, and 11 solar projects in Georgia including Pinewood Solar and Brooker Trail Solar.

Features of the Amber Meadow Solar project:

  • Photovoltaic (PV) solar arrays capable of generating up to 200 megawatts (MW) of clean, renewable energy.
  • The project encompasses approximately 2,200 acres.
  • Subject to local and state approvals, the project is scheduled to begin operations by November 2026.
