109 Megawatts of Clean Energy in Lincoln County, Minnesota

Since 2003, NextEra Energy Resources' subsidiaries have been helping fuel the state’s economic growth and quality of life and moving our country toward energy independence. To date, we have invested more than $280 million in Minnesota, including two operational wind energy centers.

The Buffalo Ridge Wind project features:

• 40 GE wind turbines capable of generating approximately 109 megawatts (MW) of clean, renewable energy.
• Began commercial operations in October 2023.
