About the Project
The Buffalo Ridge Wind is an innovative wind project proposed for Lincoln County in Minnesota with a capacity of approximately 109 megawatts of clean, renewable energy. The Buffalo Ridge Wind project is more than wind turbines - it represents a significant capital investment in Minnesota. It creates good-paying jobs and provides millions in additional revenue for landowners and the local community.
It is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, the world’s largest generator of renewable energy from the wind and the sun.
