ELOY VALLEY SOLAR PROJECT

About the Project

Eloy Valley Solar is an innovative solar and battery energy storage project series proposed for the City of Eloy and Pinal County, Arizona. The project series will consist of two phases. The first phase will have a capacity of up to 400 megawatts of homegrown energy, combined with 400 megawatts of battery energy storage. The next phase will have a capacity of up to 400 megawatts of homegrown energy combined with 400 megawatts of battery energy storage. When all phases of the project are complete, they will have a joint capacity of approximately 800 megawatts of solar energy, combined with 800 megawatts of battery energy storage.

It is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, the world’s largest generator of renewable energy from the wind and the sun.
