GREER SOLAR PROJECT

About the Project

The Greer Solar project is an innovative solar project proposed for Washington County, Mississippi that will have a capacity of up to 170 megawatts of clean, renewable, American-made solar energy. The Greer Solar project is more than solar panels — it represents a significant capital investment in Mississippi. Once operational, it will create good-paying jobs and millions in additional revenue for landowners and the local community.

It is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, the world’s largest generator of renewable energy from the wind and the sun.
