NORTH STAR ENERGY CENTER PROJECT

500 Megawatts of Clean Energy in Lac qui Parle and Yellow Medicine Counties, Minnesota and Deuel County, South Dakota

Since 2003, NextEra Energy Resources' subsidiaries have been helping fuel the state’s economic growth and quality of life and moving our country toward energy independence.

The North Star Energy Center project features:

• Up to 177 GE wind turbines capable of generating approximately 500 megawatts (MW) of renewable energy.
• Subject to local and state approvals, the project is scheduled to begin operations by December 2030.
