An Industry Leader

NextEra Energy Resources is the largest generator of solar energy in the country through operations at the Solar Electric Generating Systems (SEGS) in California’s Mojave Desert. (Source: National Renewable Energy Laboratory) At these sites, the company is using state-of-the-art technology to collect solar power and convert it into useful energy.

The SEGS facility:
  • A valuable part of NextEra Energy Resources' clean and renewable energy mix
  • A national showcase for solar technology
The company also operates the Paradise Solar Energy Center in New Jersey and the Hatch Solar Energy Center in New Mexico. We are currently developing various other solar thermal and solar photovoltaic energy projects.  We will continue to evaluate additional solar energy technologies for opportunities as feasible.
