About

The Ponderosa Wind Energy Center is an innovative wind project located in Beaver County in Oklahoma that has a capacity of approximately 200 megawatts of clean, renewable energy. The Ponderosa Wind Energy Center is more than wind turbines - it represents a significant capital investment in Oklahoma. It has created good-paying jobs and provides millions in additional revenue for landowners and the local community.

It is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, the world’s largest generator of renewable energy from the wind and the sun.
