Point Beach Nuclear Plant is located in Two Rivers, Wisconsin along Lake Michigan. The site includes two Westinghouse pressurized water reactors with a net electrical output of about 1,200 MWe, and uses Lake Michigan as its cooling water source. Built in a low-risk seismic zone and designed with multiple redundant safety systems, the plant is engineered to withstand natural events and protect the public. Point Beach also supports the local community, providing hundreds of good, stable jobs, tax revenue and volunteering in the surrounding community
